Acrylic Painting - Tea House On the Lake - Weekend Workshop

About

Always wanted to have a go with acrylic paints, or to improve your skills in a fun and friendly workshop environment? This two-day workshop is the perfect introduction to an accessible medium: we will be using a variety of techniques with our acrylic paint, layering colours and building depth and realism with brush and palette knife. There will be step by step demonstration, and plenty of personal tuition to build your confidence: classes are never larger than 6 people which allows for an exceptional amount of one-on-one guidance. This workshop focuses on the tea house at New Plymouth's Pukekura Park. We will be looking at the tea house from photos, to create a dramatic landscape with cloudy sky, reflection in the water, dense bush and foreground palms. Check my website for all painting workshops and weekly art classes. As always there is a max of 6 people, and each student's table is well-spaced to allow for 2m distancing. The price includes a heavy-duty (thick sided) 40 x 50cm canvas plus all paints. I'll provide reference images. Booking is essential!
